Our curriculum in Science helps students become familiar with styles of scientific thinking. Students will explore, discover, propose explanations and solutions and take action on what they have learned. Four major units of study will include:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Life Science - Demonstrating knowledge of the five kingdoms of living things through classification, investigation and identification.

Oceanography - Describing ocean habitats, distinguishing water variables and explaining scientific characteristics of waves.

Chemistry - Recognizing, describing, and investigating the three states of matter (solid, liquid and gas).

Environmental Science - Comparing and contrasting relationships of the environment (populations, communities, food chains, natural cycles).
